BTW< an unnamed US official has been quoted as saying that Netanyahu’s political standing is “perilous” because of divisions within his coalition http://www.reuters.com/article/idUSTRE62C0F120100313 . Really? I don’t see the Israeli media reporting this dynamic.
One wonders if efforts-such as issuing a sharp rebuke and leaking a quote that Barack Obama was “livid” over the treatment of Joe Biden are calculated to pressure Netanyahu and nudge him towards…where? Was Barack Obama livid over Palestinian desires to honor a mass murderer of Jews by naming a square in the West Bank after her? Was Barack Obama ilvid over rocket attacks from Gaza-over continued anti-Semitism being taught Palestinian kids?
