Jewish MKs both of the coalition and
Kadimah made it clear that next week they will join together to attempt
to lift her immunity as a knesset member and to have her prosecuted for
traitorous acts and supporting terror. (Support for a terror
organization by a MK is grounds for legal prosecution and expulsion from
the knesset). Zuaby is a member of the same Arab party as the infamous
Azmi Bashara who has refused to return to Israel when he realized that
was facing charges of sedition for supplying information to the
Hizballa during the last Lebanon war. (The PM and Defense Minister and
other prominent ministers absented themselves from the plenum;so did the
head of the opposition MK Livni during this whole episode)
Stay tuned...Monday a knesset committee will meet to deal with the Zuaby
